+If you do not see the screen, look for a RustDesk icon on your Desktop and open the RustDesk client. The icon looks like this.

+If you are a Daily Data customer, we generally send you a configuration string. You will need that first.
+Minimize the RustDesk main window and find the configuration string. It will be a long string of characters (alpha, numbers, maybe some equals signs) that look similar to this, except will be be a lot longer

+That must be all one the same line, so make sure. It may be 150 or more characters in length. That entire string, all on the same line, needs to be selected, then copied to the clipboard. On Windows and Linux workstations, you can do this by:
+  - Triple Click the string (click 3 times rapidly with the mouse)
+  - You should see the entire string highlighted
+  - Copy to clipboard using one of the actions below
+    - Press ctl-c (press and hold the control key and, while it is down, press the c key)
+    - Right click on the highlighted string and select Copy
+  - You will see no indication that it is in the clipboard. No messages or anything, most likely

+This will bring up the configuration screen. On the left side, click the **Network** menu item, then click the *Unlock network settings** bar and enter your password.

+You will now see the network settings screen. Click the first item, **ID/Relay server**

+Finally, you will see the place where you can set up the network. It will initially be blank, but clicking the little icon that looks like a clipboard (upper right, leftmost icon) will paste the configuration you copied to the clipboard earlier. I have blanked out most of what showed up.

+Click the Ok button, then close the settings tab (top, no picture, sorry) until you see the following screen. I have erased the ID in this picture, but you should see a 9-10 digit number in ID (top arrow) and a green dot with Ready next to it at the bottom (bottom arrow)

+RustDesk is now installed. You can give the ID and One-time password to a technician and they will be able to assist you in the future.
