Open web browser to https://rustdesk.com/download Select version to download (ie, Windows x86-64 (64-bit), MSI)

Double click on the downloaded file and allow the RustDesk Setup Wizard to install RustDesk

Click Next at the Welcome screen

Click the Accept box to accept the license, then click Next

Click the Next icon to accept the defaults

Click the Install button to begin the installation.

If you get this screen, Click Accept to indicate you want to do the installation.

Now, wait for the installation to complete

As soon as the program is installed, you should see the following screen.

If you do not see the screen, look for a RustDesk icon on your Desktop and open the RustDesk client. The icon looks like this.

If you are a Daily Data customer, we generally send you a configuration string. You will need that first.

Minimize the RustDesk main window and find the configuration string. It will be a long string of characters (alpha, numbers, maybe some equals signs) that look similar to this, except will be be a lot longer

That must be all one the same line, so make sure. It may be 150 or more characters in length. That entire string, all on the same line, needs to be selected, then copied to the clipboard. On Windows and Linux workstations, you can do this by:

1. Triple Click the string (click 3 times rapidly with the mouse)
2. You should see the entire string highlighted
3. Copy to clipboard using one of the actions below
   1. Press ctl-c (press and hold the control key and, while it is down, press the c key)
   2. Right click on the highlighted string and select Copy
4. You will see no indication that it is in the clipboard. No messages or anything, most likely

Unminimize the RustDesk main screen and click the three dots. In the above image, there is a poorly drawn arrow pointing to that.

This will bring up the configuration screen. On the left side, click the Network menu item
